Design and execution of RCC foundations for GBT, RTT and monopole telecom towers — engineered for soil condition, wind zone and long-term structural stability.
Engineered foundations that carry the network
A telecom tower is only as reliable as the foundation beneath it. BRESPL designs and executes tower civil foundations for Ground Based Towers (GBT), Roof Top Towers (RTT), monopoles and hybrid structures across India — from dense urban rooftops to remote green-field sites with difficult access.
Every foundation begins with data, not assumption. Our civil team carries out soil investigation, determines safe bearing capacity, and selects the appropriate foundation system — isolated pad-and-chimney, raft, or bored cast-in-situ piles where the strata demands it. Designs are checked against IS 456, IS 875 (Part 3) wind loading for the applicable wind zone, and the tower manufacturer’s reaction schedule.
What the scope covers
- Survey & setting out — total-station marking of tower centre, leg positions and diagonal checks before a single spade is turned.
- Excavation & PCC — controlled excavation with shoring where required, followed by levelling course.
- Reinforcement & shuttering — bar bending schedule driven fabrication, cover blocks, and rigid formwork that holds line and level.
- Concreting — M25 to M35 design mix, slump-tested at site, with cube samples sent for 7-day and 28-day compressive strength testing.
- Anchor bolt template — the single most critical operation. Templates are set, double-checked for diagonal, level and orientation, and locked before pour.
- Finishing works — plinth protection, cable trench, earth pits with chemical earthing, boundary and gate where in scope.
Quality and safety
Concrete pours are supervised end to end. Cube test results, reinforcement checklists, level records and photographic evidence form the Quality Assurance Plan handed over with every site. Work-at-height, excavation and lifting activities follow documented job safety analyses, with PPE compliance audited by our site supervisors.
Why operators work with us
Rollout schedules do not wait. Our crews are structured to mobilise multiple sites in parallel within a circle, with dedicated supervisors, standard material logistics and a single point of contact for the operator’s project manager. Sites are handed over with as-built drawings, test reports and a clean completion certificate — ready for tower erection without rework.
